Battery for 90 hp Johnson gradually discharges.

I have a 2000 90 hp Johnson that gradually discharges the battery. I think it's more than just the battery because the volt meter on dash gradually drops.
I can only use the boat for about 2 hours before recharging battery. Stator was replaced about 3 years ago. Any ideas about where problem is?

Faulty regulator.
Check continuity between red and yellow- should be none!
Between yellow and red -continuity.
Is your tach working?
You might even test the following:
Disconnect all wire harness plugs between engine and instruments/remote.
Take the red battery cable off the solenoid, then careful just touch the solenoid with the B+ cable. If a small 'spark', the regulator is most likely 'leaking'.
