I have been asking questions on here in an attempt to get it running. You folks have been a great help especially putting up with my incorrect terminology.

AN UPDATE:

Today, I got it started!!! I was so thrilled. I only ran it for about 10-15 seconds but it DID run. I didn't get a chance to see if the water was pumping through nor did I test to see if it would go in gear but I got it running!!!!
It wouldn't idle but that could be because it was cold and all the playing around I did with the carburetor.

Any way, I just wanted to thank each and every one of you who support this forum. Your input helps and you do make a difference, at least for me. I'm not sure I could have done it without you or at least it would have been much harder to do.

So, no questions...no problems.. just a BIG THANK YOU for all your help.

Bill
P.S. I'm learning terminology, so future post might be better :)
