I need to upgrade the steering on my old boat for a bigger outboard (1973 65 hp Johnson). It currently has a dual pulley system and the bigger motor stretched the cables and broke off one of the pulleys. i am assuming it needs upgraded. After some research, what teleflex steering system should i use to keep the factory steering wheel? Rotary? and would this be fairly easy to install? Thanks for any input.
