61 fisherman 5.5 hp fuel pump

I've recently acquired a 61 Evinrude fisherman 5.5hp. The fuel pump does not appear to be working and I'm unable to find a replacement fuel pump or repair kit for that year model. Is there any reason I can't use a 6hp fuel pump (Sierra # 18-7350) on this motor?

It will likely work. You will probably have to re-route the fuel line somewhat, but you will probably want to replace the old ones with new ethanol resistant ones anyway.
