Carb swap?

Hi there,
I have a 1976 evinrude 40hp and a 1973 evinrude 20 and was wondering if it is possible to put the 40 carb on the 20?

Hi 20hp to 35hp was the same power head 40 hp was bigger. if you are able to change it you have to make some changes to the mid and lower unit to because they wont bi able to handle the hp you gonna break something
