just wondering if anyone knows what type of oil to gas ratio i should be using in a 1960 75 hp johnson super seahorse?

I beleave you need to run a 24:1 ratio. Others will chime in and confirm or deny my statement.

That sounds right. My 1960 Evinrude 75hp V4 (should be the same) says 1/3 pt. oil to 1 gal. gas. However, back then they were talking SAE 30 and not TC-W2 or TC-W3.
Might make a difference.

Use the search function and you'll find many posts about this. Included in the posts are opinions about whether modern oils make a difference. Also included in some historical posts is the fact that the recommended fuel:eek:il ratio changed from 1963 to 1964 for engines of your size even though the 1963 and 1964 engines are 99% identical.
