I have a couple of questions about a motor my Dad gave me long ago and now I am trying to resurrect it. The motor is a 1.5hp Sportsman model #4425-11346c. I have cleaned the carb and notice that it has 3 needle adjustments, one on top and two on the front. I was wondering if anyone knows where to set these to start out with. Also I have heard that the oil/fuel ratio is either 16/1 or 24/1. Can anyone set me straight on which is correct? Is any 2 stroke oil ok or does marine oil have something different in it?
