Tilt slows and stalls after sitting for a few days.

The tilt/trim motor on my 2003 90hp slows and seems to "stall" when not used for a while. Pausing or reversing frees it up and after a couple full travel passes, it is fine. I'm wondering if some valves are sticking and the motor binds or something to that end. It does not matter if the switch on the control is used or the switch on the motor.

The service manual has not been much help in this area. Wondering if the fluid can be fully drained and filled with fresh oil to see if that improves performance before just buying a new trim motor.

Any suggestions or insight?
