Hi all,
Brand new to boats and boating. We just bought a 1972 Starcraft Holiday with a 1968 Johnson FD-22M. The anchor block and pin and latch roller are broken off. Looking at the parts diagrams it seems you have to remove 4 rivets but two of them are located under the tilt handle.
All of the parts I need for the latch are available but I'm afraid to remove the tilt handle since that part is obsolete and appears to have plastic built in rivets or something holding it on.
Has anyone ever replace the latch? Any suggestions?
