1974 Evinrude Ignition switch wiring

I need to either find a new key or replace the switch on my boat. Do I need the exact replacement (0385483 IGNITION SWITCH) or is there a generic 6 wire switch? If so, which one? Thanks,

If the switch is ok, get the number off the switch and take it to a Johnnyrude dealer and get a replacement key. There were only about a dozen or so keys and they will probably have one on hand, or can order it.

Okay, the switch was not the original. I ordered a push to choke switch from Wholesale Marine, wired it according to the letters and wire colors. Works GREAT!!!! Thanks

I have the same problem with the same part #. Can you show me which switch you used??? Also, what did you do for the auto kill function?
