i have a 95 70hp johnson that has no compression on the middle cylinder, i think im going to dive in myself this time.... the saga is here http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=407852

so i want a factory service manual to guide me along, is this what im looking for

http://www.marineengine.com/parts/p...pe=Service+Manual&Engine=437482&Model=70TLEOR

my engine is tilt+trim, electric start, console steering which should make it J70TLEOR, assuming it is a 95, block has a mid late 94 datecode, boat and trailer is a set from 95 and looks to never have had a different motor. the tag containing model and serial numbers is missing from the mount, silver plug on the block reads G 3873300

outboardbooks.com shows the same part number for the manual that marineengine.com does but a far higher cost, think i will call marine engine to clarify whos books it is
