Had water pump changed out 30 days ago / already gone out and getting water in lower uni , any ideas ????

a guy in pineville, la. He called me today said to bring it to him monday and he will look at it. Could this be were my water is coming from and getting into my lower unit . Ithikk he may have just changed the impeller. I originally took it to him because of water in my lower unit and to change water pump.

Just sounds like he didn't seal the lu good before he put it back together. Usually you do just change the impeller unless the housing is bad

Thats what I thought but he charged me foe a water pump kit.....

That is the kit. It is usually an impeller and a key. You have to buy the gaskets separately

OK I appreciate it. I will post again after I get my bot back next week. Hope it didn't hurt anythin before I could get it sfut down....
