im new to working on these motors and this is my problem. motor wasnt getting up to "top"speed it started acting sluggish so we cleaned the carb put it back together wouldnt start pulled it about 50 times nothing. we hit it with a shot of either started up but then died , now i cant pull start it unless u take the plugs out and drain the fluid thats built up any suggestions thanx

Sounds like your needle and seat need to be replaced. Gas is getting by the seat as you pump the bulb to fill the carb. Order a carb. kit for it. Don't use starting fluid it has no oil in it. Use a spay bottle filled with pre-mix. Best of luck. Rick.
