i just acquired an evinrude simplex control and cables that i am planning to use on a 7.5 Evinrude motor. from what i can tell, it appears that the connecting ends for the motor match as they should. the controls were set up for port side and i want to use them starboard, i have not been able to find any information re what all needs to be reconfigured inside the control box to make it right. my question for this illustrious group; are there any diagrams available showing how to properly set up the control box and motor attachment? can anyone give me enough insight to move this current project along? thank you all!
