2002 johnson 25hp model # question

Y'all came thru for me last time, need to pick your brains again. First I was told locally that my motor was a salt water motor, what is the difference, how do you tell? Second, my mod # is J25TESTR. Is that an odd model # or? Thnx.

It is a 2003 model, blank.Could have been built and purchased in 2002.

Cofe...you are a gentleman and a scholar, I appreciate the chart, says it is a salt water edition. My question now is, why my river rat uncle (that taught me how to fish, swim, and run lines) ended up with a salt water edition motor here in backwoods Ky. And what's the diff between a salt and fresh water motor?
