1976 55HP Evinrude: How do you remove the tilt tube from the stern bracket?

Can anyone reccommend a way to remove the tilt tube from the stern bracket. I have the motor off and the stern bracket removed from the tube on the port side. The starboard side will not budge though.

With the nuts removed it should come out, maybe a little heat would help. Sometimes they can stick pretty good.

Thanks. Went to the hardware store and bought a torch. I was finally able to pound the tilt tube out without breaking anything. I had the same problem and solution with the arm and shaft. Thanks for the response.
