1952-54 Johnson JW 10 seahorse

The rope starter assembly jammed up. I took it apart, one of the three small springs which helps retract the rope is no longer there. I need a replacement,last time I searched all over town and found 1, and it cost me $13.00. Is there a place to find them somewhere else?

Bring a good one to the hdwr store and match it up. My true-value in town had the same thing but longer, I just stretched it a bit cut it, and bent the ends and works fine for cheap.
