1988 evinrude 4hp mix ratio??

everyone is telling me 50:1 but i noticed on the motor there a 100:1 ratio sticker is this ok even when the motors older and works pretty hard

i have an 85 rude 4.5 hp, it says 100:1, but i have always, from new mixed it 50:1. found out in this forum that there was a bulletin issued by omc, shortly after those 100:1 motors hit the market, to disreguard the 100:1, and go with 50:1. (my 1985 still runs as new)

Will the 50:1 ratio work for my evinrude 200 v6?

Please start a new topic for your question and supply the year and model number of your outboard. Most likely the answer is 50:1 unless you have a Ficht DI engine or Etec
