Hi folks. Ok I'm almost done tinkering on my johnson 150 hp j150tlcdc. I still can't figure out the recirculation system routing. I found 3 bad valves but the hoses are what's baffling me some of the hoses have been cut and plugged and I'm not sure where they go. Does it really matter? As long as all the hoses are attached will the system work? Also, what actually drives this system? Is there a connection to a source of vacuum or does it run off gravity? If any one has a diagram for this engine I would be greatly indebted to you for sharing it with me. If you ever make it to the island I,ll make it worth your while with all the mussels and lobster you can eat.

Re: Recirculation valve help

The diagrams and test procedures for the recirt system are usually in the OEM factory service manuals. All the lines have to be in the proper place and the recirt valves have to work properly.
