Evinrude OEM paint compatible with Moeller zinc chromate?

Hi I'm wondering if the Evinrude OEM spray paint Polychromatic Blue 0771259 is compatible with Moeller Zinc Chromate? We're trying to repaint our 1966 80 HP Evinrude outboard and I'm having trouble finding this answer. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Most older motors were painted with lacquer and zinc chromate is the correct primer for that as well as some other finishes. The zinc chromate is more dictated by the metal to be painted (aluminum), I believe. I don't know about the blue paint you have.

I have used it on my Johnny 150 with the newwer paints and not had any problems. I think you'll be fine.
