Where is water pump on 48 johnson 5 hp td 20

Hey guys... Was wondering if someone could tell me how to locate water pump on a 1948 5 hp johnson model # td 20... Also was wondering if anyone knows where to get one at besides tcoutboard.com he wants me to send him old one to match up parts... Cant find where the old one is located to send him... He said cant find in his computer so im stuck... Might be able to fix pump also if i could get to it... Manuals for this motor are scarce... thanks John

Your water pump is located behind the prop. If I am not mistaken, your motor takes a rotor.

Here is a link to a free copy of a service manual for your motor. It is in the public domain so it is legal to download it to your computer. (look on the left hand side of the screen and you will see a selection of formats. Select the pdf 15.3M and download it on your computer.
