1975 evinrude 6 hp carburetor question

Hey guys, I have a 6hp evinrude that I took apart and can't get back together. I can't remember how the throttle cam goes back on with respect to the pull start assembly. I bought a repair manual for $40 that doesn't even have a picture of it if anyone is familiar with this engine I'd love to be able to ask you some questions. Thanks for any help. - Jeff

Theres a stainless steel rod that goes between that and throttle cam. Post back results.

Yes thats it and that fits into the cam that runs off of the turn plate. Post back

Is the turn plate the black piece I'm holding or is the turn plate by the flywheel? If it's by the flywheel it doesn't reach. Or if you can tell me where the black piece goes that might help to. I will post pics of all the parts I have

Post the pics, it should be of plastic with a small black roller. You will have to put that little rod on and then install it. post back

That was it Monte!!!!! The black piece in my last picture was the roller. More of a slide without a roller. I never would have seen it!!! Thank you for your time guys. Thanks again Monte. You are the man.
