1990 johnson 120 hp outboard

i have a 1990 johnson 120hp. and it will not start i put a fuel filter in it, spark plugs, i cranked it and i have no spark i have checked the coils and they checked out good. i was told it could possible be the power pack unit but i am not sure any one have this problem.

Try disconnecting the black/yellow wire at the power pack and see if you have spark, if so, you have s short in the kill circut. Do you have a lanyard switch, is the lanyard attached?
