I recently aquired a 70 hp Evinrude 70773S. The paperwork from the previous owner says it's a 1977 model.I have found it needs nothing except for a set of tilt tube bushings and spacers.
Here's the dilema.......I have searched high and low for the schematics, but cannot seem to locate a set that is the same as the bushings I have on my motor. They all show a different set that are nothing like what I need to replace.
Somehow, a few weeks ago, I stumbled upon the proper schematic on a website that wasn't selling parts, so there was just schematic refrence numbers, not proper part numbers. Luckily, I saved the image, and continued my search for these things but cannot find them.
Any help would be appreciated, I need a pair each of part #5 and 5a.
