I recently took my engine in for repair to hook up the wiring harness, tune up, and check out my ignition. The mechanic hooked all the wiring up and turned over the ignition and it wouldn't start. So he loosened up the power wire from the top of the cylinoid and noticed he noticed a wire was unhooked from my terminal block and discovered it was the recharging system for the battery. So he hooked the wire back up and he turned the ignition over again. He says the engine began smoking and says all the electronics are fried. Does anyone know if the recharging system could cause all the electronics in my engine to fry if there was a short in the wire of recharging system?

Thinking that if it's a reputable repair shop, then they should have know what that wire is for and if they didn't they shouldn't have hooked it up in till they did! Sounds like I would be having a conversation with shop manager or owner! But that's me. Good luck!
