Lo and behold, I have been picking everyones brain here trying to get my motor started
because it wouldn't turn over. Took the advice given to me and dropped the foot.
Top end of the motor turned over nice by hand with no plugs, tried to turn the driveshaft by hand.
Forget it, seized.
Opened the foot tonight and removed water pump, top bearing, big washer.
Here's the problem, the bearing that is underneath the washer has been ground to nothing. Any ideas on how to get it off the driveshaft without taking a torch to it.
