2000 50hp johnson need tuning help

I have a 50 hp Johnson, J50plssm, does anyone happen to know what the spark control rod length should be as well as the length for the idle screw.Or where i might be able to look this up at. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

You need an OEM Service Manual. The Linkage and Synchronization (linc 'n' synch) procedure will guide you through it all.
