What is the best way to re-attach the magnets to my flywheel?? When I removed my fly wheel, 2 of the magnets stayed attached to the stator, the other 4 were all loose. Also how can I be sure they are spaced just right?? I can see what appears to be gray paint where several of the magnets should go but in a couple of the spots the paint is gone. Any suggestions welcomed.
Thanks Sparkie

I read somewhere that they actually sell a kit with magnets and epoxy, and that you space them 3/8" apart.

I replaced three of my magnets a few months ago. The epoxy that comes with the magnet kits you buy is labeled as some sort of marine epoxy, but I surmise any good epoxy should do. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Instructions (selected excerpts, transcribing from hard copy in front of me):
BRP Epoxy Adhesive Kit: P/N431929
1. Remove all old epoxy residue using wire brush and rough both bonding surfaces with 80 grit
2. Clean each surface with cleaning solvent (I used mineral spirits)
3. Use a 7/16" (11.1mm) bolt as spacer between magnets.
4. When gluing, make sure all magnet champhers are aligned
5. For best bonding, flywheel should lay flat for 24hrs. I taped mine in place to ensure they held position till the epoxy cured
