If you're using the 6+ gallon tanks like I am for a '75 70HP Evinrude, the 50:1 ratio works out to a pint of two cycle oil to six gallons of gasoline.
Exact values are 2.56 ounces oil to each gallon (128 ounces).
6 gallons times 2.56 oz per gallon equals 15.36 ounces for the full tank.
Hope that helps...
Sure. But nobody goes to that extreme. Dump in a pint can of oil and fill 'er up with gas. Or 1/3 of your wife's measuring cup to a gallon. Sneak the cup into the dishwasher before she finds out.
Buy one of the measure bottles....and your wife will love you....it works good for the outboard..the chainsaws and wackers...lol
