Originally, the problem was no water coming out of tell tale.
I discovered that the accelerator pump (at bottom of carb assembly through which tell tale water should pass) was plugged with salt. Now that it is clear, there is strong flow through tell tale.
During this process, I had removed a small black plastic nozzle (?) that was inserted into the end of the tell tale - secured by plastic tie strap.
I haven't yet reinstalled the nozzle, but I'm wondering if it's function is to restrict the outflow from the tell tale, in order to cause more pressure/flow through the cooling system.
I can't see this nozzle in the parts diagram.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
