well there are many 48 specials, what year? model #? condition? fresh or salt water use? that is one of the most dependable motors there is.

instead of being a smartass rudi2 try helping someone by answering the question that was asked.a ball park answer would have been better than a smartass answer.if you have no help for anyone then dont answer

late 80's probably worth no TNT...$400-$700

mid 90's $1000 in great condition.....

there is a model number on a tag or sticker on the bracket that bolts to the boat... goes like this: J48sl(XXX) maybe letters like cu cc, ce, es, ei, en

but the question really kinda like ..I have a chevy it has a 350 motor in it...how much is it worth???

really cant give a valid answer..
