95 Evinrude 28 HP stalls when accelerating

My 95 Evinrude 28 HP has been having a problem recently with stalling out when accerlating. It starts up great, trolls great but when I accelerate after about 30 seconds you motor starts to hesitate a little and then will stall very abruptly. It starts right back up with no hesitation what so ever and will continue to run fine at trolling speeds. Any suggestions anyone might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Try pumping the primer bulb while at high speed and see if runs ok, if so you might have a fuel pump problem.
You may also have a high speed jet plugged, not allowing proper fuel delivery at high speed.

i recently had the same problem with my etec 115.. i found out that a fuel hose behind the carb was tore and leaking fuel. check all your fuel line on your engine and check for fuel leak.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try pumping the bulb first and see what happens with that.
