A friend of mine gave me a 1974 Johnson 15hp (15R74S) outboard with a tiller handle. The motor runs good but I am looking to get a remote steering and throttle for it. I tried searching and i know what I need to get for controls and steering, but does this motor have the right connections to attach the throttle, shifter, and steering cables to? I am not sure what I would need besides a Teleflex steering kit and the controls. Any help is appreciated.
