1964 Evinrude Sport 16 Boat

This is boat is in extremely good condition. I have attached pictures.

1972 100HP Johnson Outboard
Motor Model: 100ESL72R
Motor Serial Number: J3701388

I am looking at either fixing the steering cable on the boat or replacing it. Could anyone please suggest where I could get the cable. This system is a pulley type system. See pictures. I'm new to all this and the boat was given to me. Thanks in advance.

You can buy coated cable from lowes or home depot. Probably need around 50' to replace. There is a post in the FAQ regarding the replacement.

Does anyone know what the cable would be called at either Lowes or Home Depot. I'm sure they don't sell Teleflex but they must have a name for it. My marine mechanic has not gotten back to me in over a week on my steering cable problem and I'm thinking I might as well tackle this job myself. Thanks.
