1995 48 hp evinrude spl

I have a 48 hp evinrude it runs but sometimes it dies right away and sometimes it runs but when you throult up it cuts out. Please hlep thanks.

Does the primer bulb stay hard?
If i were you I would definatley do a carb job on this one. Get a good service manual follow the steps

No the primer bulb dose not stay hard

once the fuel pump starts pumping. the bulb softens, i agree carb cleaning and kits. read it in the TOP SECRET FILE.
