1988 225 hp evinrude

Has 75 compression all holes. power pack was failing and replaced with new. Have great spark on port bank and no spark on starboard bank. Is this a timer base problem??? jr.les@hotmail.com

Could be but sounds like the cd box may be bad
i just had to change mine and the vr too

i have a 88 j225 looper my self
