i have a 99 model johnson jet drive motor, i have taken it to several boat dealers but no one seems to want to work on it. the engine lacks power as if its either not getting the right amount of fire, or not getting the right amount of fuel, the spark plugs are firing, but im not sure if they are putting out enough juice to ignite mixed fuel. between half throttle and full throttle it gains NO power. i was wondering if anyone happens to be familiar with these engines, and could possibly give me some hints as to what the culprit may be. im thinking power pack, but im leary of buying a new one and that not being the problem.. also, the alarm for engine service and low oil comes on after its been ran for several minutes at full throttle. any advice would be appreciated. thanks
