factory Low idle screw setting Johnson 9.5 71

The remote cable was locked up for the low idle air fuel adjustment.. Had to dyke it to be able to adjust it . Close but no cigar, Cant find the high side for the gas air fuel mix. Seems lean at wot maybe and should smoke a little more at Idle and low speed. Cant seem to get rid of a low idle buck.

You are adjusting the idle mixture, not the speed. The idle speed adjustment is on the right side near the pivot for the tiller handle.

Yea I can idle it up and have adjusted while in gear. Rpms are good,

The gas air fuel mixture is 1.5 turns out. Thought I seen it some where but wasn't positive.
