I am looking for a 1973 evinrudew 6hp fisherman motor cover. I have found one on ebay but he wants 50.00 for it. EDIT I would like to get one with the clips already on it. THanks

i read that it's not allowed to do any transaction here, but its allowed on ebay,
my advice is to buy not working unit,but look for one with cover in good shape

$50 is about the minimum you can expect to pay for a cowling. If you had a 1992 6hp, it's over $100 for a used one. You don't even want to know what a new one costs from the dealer.

I fixed mine. It had a big crack in it from being shipped. So, I put the pieces back together and used some fiberglass tape and resin on the inside. Looks not as bad as when it had holes in it.

Runs fine, so I don't care anyhow.

Keep watching ebay. You might get lucky.
