I just purchased a 1987 Thundercraft Starflite (Quebec, Canada Manufactured) that has a 90 Hp Evinrude. The oil injectors have been disconnected. The the oil is now being mixed in the fuel tank. What is the correct oil mixture to Litre/Gallon ratio?

Thanks,

1/2 litre for 5 gallons.your mixture is 50 parts gas to 1 part oil.were talking imperial gallons here not the small u.s. gallon.

In Canada you use litres not gallons and pints

50:1 is:

20 cc (or ml) oil in every litre
100cc oil in 5 litres
500cc in 25 litres

In gallons and pints it is near enough 1 pint in 6 gallons but you must use US pints (16 ozs) with US gallons and Imperial UK pints (20 ozs) with UK Imperial gallons.

Oh why Oh Why do the US cling to these obsolete units ?
