I can't seem to get away from electrical issues with this engine. A new Etec isn't far away i'm afraid. but for now here is my issue i could use some help with. Engine has new flywheel (magnets had de-magnetized...possilbe nearby lighting they said), a new power pack, and a new rectifier. Batteries are charging fine, but the voltage while underway will vary from 12.6 to 14.0 regardless of RPM. it's pretty stable at 13.7, but drops for a minute or two, then back up. I don't imagine this is correct, but was thinking that maybe it varied throughout the charging cycle. Wanted to check here before I took it into the shop, who has always done me right. thanks for looking and i appreciate any input.

find your rectifier here and download the install sheet..it will tell you how to test your rectifier. you will need a DVA adapter to use with your multi meter.
