1978 Johnson Remote parts

I need a couple of NLA parts for my controller pictured here:

Handle knob. (#36) (confusion here is they list TWO without explaining the difference..)

Applique (#42). If truely NLA does anyone have a good picture that a repro could be created from???

A couple of suggestions for NLA parts. Contact Sea-Way marine, in the Seattle area. They have large amounts of NLA OMC parts. They have an 800 number. Also, call any Bombardier dealer and ask them to check your part numbers on their StockPro Part Locator system. That system links a few key Evinrude dealers and your dealer can check their parts stock online. There are other dealers in the US, esp Florida, that carry old OMC parts. Check the web.

The earlier versions of your remote control did not have the PT&T switch in to the control arm, although a kit was available to upgrade. Part # 323291 was for the newer version. used in 1978.
