Fuel Hose - 9.9Hp 1975 Evinrude

I cleaned my carb today and would like to change the fuel hose that goes from the fuel pump to the carb. Would you know what diameter of hose I should get and if it is a special type or just a regular fuel hose.

Measure the hose ID. If standard, you can get the fuel hose at any auto parts outlet, otherwise BRP dealer.

Has anyone used a 3/16" fuel hose for a line that calls for 5/32"? Would there be that big of difference? I have a 3/16" that I could use if it would work.
