Evinrude outboard fleetwin 7.5hp - what year?

I just bought a running fleetwin 7.5hp outboard for $200. It is a good runner. The serial number is 7514 - 50713. Can anyone tell me what year this motor is? I'd like to get a manual for it as there are some controls on the front of the motor and I am not 100% sure what they are for. I do not want to screw around with them just in case. I suspect they are fuel mixture and idle adjustments but would like to know for sure...

1954 my friend. Top screw is slowspeed adjustment, bottom is high speed.
