1993 150 ocean pro starts wont idle

took my boat out fishing my first motor starts up and idles nice but my other motor starts and dies out. i got it running by starting it up and put in gear and putts and than ran at high rpms soon as i slow down put in netrual and dies need to have both motors running right to fish off shore.oh just had to put new power pack on because it had no spark ,

Do a compression test,
then a spark test with a gap tester from the auto store, set gap to 7/16th inch.

If compression is even and spark jumps 7/16th " gap on all 6

its probably time to rebuild the carbs with new kits, change cone filter between carbs. Order carb kits here on iBoats, about $23 ea.
Simple DIY job.
