I have a 1990 40hp Johnson. Sometimes while running, the boat just stalls. It happens at any throttle position, and after stalling will start right back up and run for a bit before stalling again. When it stalls, it does not lose prime, and runs fine right up until it stalls again. I've been told it may be the diaphram for the fuel pump. Does this sound accurate to you folks here, or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
