Where can I order one of the pins that retains the motor in place when
I tilt it down in run position? I am not sure what this pin is called.

The pin with a plastic clip on the end that goes through one of the pairs of holes in the stern brackets to adjust the angle and hold the motor down when going astern?

"Tilt pin assembly" Possibly part no 390441 or 432452.

Go to http://shop.evinrude.com/ then the electronic parts catalog , find you engine by make, year, hp and model number and the look at the "Midsection" diagram

Any dealer should be able to get it for you.

OR
do as I have done, get a bit of stainless steel round bar the same diameter, put a thread on each end and put it permanently in position with a couple of nuts on the ends

Any OMC dealer will be able to get you one. Or you could make one. I have a 9.9 what has a long spike for a pin and it works fine. If your local shop has a bone yard for motors they can probably give you one for free or not much money. Best of luck. Rick.

They aren't cheap either, the one for my 15 was $60+ at my dealer, cheapest is to make one out of round metal stock same size as the hole and use a die to thread it (each end) so you can put a nut on each end.
