Hello,

I just purchased a 25 ph late 70's early 80's Evenrude.

First off I am having a heck of a time finding the true serial number? There does not seem to be a welch plug? There is no exhaust hole in the prop, making it before 84, as I understand it. Any tips on where the serial number may be located?

The linkage between the pull cord and fly wheel is broken. When i opened it up there was what looked like a mangled coat hanger and some broken blue pieces of plastic floating around. Can anyone tell me what this part is called and where to find it.

Thanks,
ClaytoR

If it helps the # on the block behind the spark plugs (just found it hiding) is 326044 D-1

The number on the side of the block is 327637 D2

The number on the bottom of the tiller arm is 326713

Thanks
