The problem that i have is that I have to open the throtel all the way down
to be able to start the engin.Just rebuilt the carbs but it was doing the same thing before the carb rebuilt.Once it starts runs great.THe problem is when you start it.Can it be a timing issue??????????

The only time I've had to open the throttle wide to get engine to fire is when its flooded out.
I agree with tash, it could still be incorrect starting proceedure.

Those primers develop leaks too, inspect with a flashlight, look for wet hoses, damp seals. The rebuild kit for primer choke is only $12.

Its also possible your quickstart circuit isn't activating (powerpack feature).

Or the ignition pickup roller is positioned wrong, ignition has to be advanced to fire up and need to be fully carbs closed.
