Hi,
I 've got a 1986 14 HP SPL and it's not running too good.
Had not ran it in a year.
Once I ran the motor after a year it ran fine at home.
Then second time I ran this motor I had to pull the choke all the way out for the motor to run.
As the motor was running on the lake I shot some Gum Out in the carb.
Now I think this was the wrong thing to do now it runs real bad and I have to pull the choke out as far as it will go for the motor to run.
And the motor will only run real slow.
Is my problem in the choke or do you think it's in the carb the choke is the plastic tub on the inside with O rings.
